Ukrainian Easter Eggs are decorated using a wax-resist method called Batik.  During the Easter Holiday my family enjoys creating these beautiful eggs.  We use a Ukrainian Egg Decorating Kit to create decorations for our own home.  They also make excellent Easter gifts for family and friends.  If you are not up to the challenge or just running out of time, you can purchase these amazing Ukrainian Easter Eggs.  I love eggs decorated with traditional designs the include flowers, birds and horses.  The following are a few of my favorites...

For many years I had a small horse farm in Colorado Rocky Mountains, at an elevation of about 8,400 ft.  During the winter, a herd of Elk would visit our property every few days.  There were approximately 150 of these amazing animals that would over take our entire farm every few days.  They would mingle with our horses, vehicles and spend time on our patio looking in our doors and windows.  It was amazing.  I have created many designs that were inspire by that time in my life and this year I created the following Walking in a Winter Wonder Land Holiday Elk design...

Wild Tiger Season's Greetings Christmas Paradise Holiday Card

I have been living in Southern California for almost four months now and my location has inspired this design.  I take daily walks on a path that is refereed to, by some, as "The Jungle".  There are palm trees, tropical greenery, many birds, coyotes and other animals.  Since it rains, next to never, the paths are a beige-ish dust.  I would not be surprised to see this beautiful tiger rest beneath the palm fronds.  The entire collection can be found at Wild Tiger Holiday Paradise Christmas Collection.  My favorite from this collection is the personalized ornament...
