Rustic Moose and Golden Aspen Trees Father's Day Card

This rustic Happy Father's Day greeting card features a silhouette moose with a strand of golden aspen trees as the background. They are decorated with an ornate red and gold plaque. Inside Greeting ~ "To the greatest Dad, Wishing you a wonderful day full of love and happiness. ~Love Always". The greeting can easily be personalized to read as you wish. 

This design was inspired by the many years that I lived in Colorado.  There was a moose family that lived around my horse farm.  The style and coloring is a reflection of my over all feelings for both Estes Park and the Boulder Theater.

The Roman poet Horace wrote the famous Latin phrase, Carpe Diem, Quam Minimum Credula Postero in 23BC.  It is often translated as "Seize the Day, don't worry about the future".  The skull and crossbones background is a reminder that life is short.  The combination of this phrase, background and the fact that love is the greatest pleasure one can experience, can be translated to a modern meaning of...

Be present and enjoy your love today, while it is here, while you are alive.  Worrying about the future is only a waste of time that could be better spent enjoying the pleasures of your day, for you know not what the future holds.
